Trumpeter I Educator I Marching Band Director
Mark Davis is the Marching Band Director at Loudoun County High School and a trumpet performer and educator based in Northern Virginia.
He holds a Master’s degree in Trumpet Performance from George Mason University and is an active teacher and performer in the region.
Mark was selected as a member of the U.S. Army All-American Marching Band, where he performed with top high school musicians from across the country.
His approach to music education emphasizes clarity, consistency, and building a strong ensemble through daily rehearsal habits.

A P E X is North America’s premiere in-person summer trumpet symposium. From the majestic heights of Tennessee’s Smokey Mountains, a stone’s throw from Knoxville, participants hone their creative voices in a stunning mountaintop lodge. Participants enjoy private lessons, topic lectures, non-traditional interactive masterclasses from world-class artists, time for individual practice, and trumpet ensembles all taking place in a positive, supportive, and collegial environment.
